Florent is a neighbourhood bistro in the heart of Rockhampton. A place to gather, unwind, and enjoy the simple pleasures of good food and wine.

 

Named after my Belgian grandfather, whose deep love for wine and bringing people together around the table still inspires me today. Florent captures the charm of the wine bars scattered through Paris and Brussels - relaxed, soulful, and always welcoming.

 

The menu reflects the European flavours I grew up with, paired with the Australian produce I love to cook with. It’s seasonal, nostalgic, and designed to be shared.

 

At Florent, we believe the best meals often happen when you’re not watching the clock, when conversation flows, dessert turns into a nightcap, and that last glass of wine you didn’t plan on ordering somehow feels just right.
